The leadership of the African National Congress and the Congress of South African Trade Unions met today, 26 April to receive a report from the Task Team on the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project (GFIP).

The leadership has collectively agreed to ask government to postpone the implementation of the e-toll collection system by a month. This will give the task team more time toexplore alternative funding mechanisms.
