David Bizer: The Artist Who Turned Audio Into Jewellery

German artist, David Bizer, has created a range of jewellery which uses audio samples and converts them into unique wearable necklaces. Bizer calls this jewellery ‘Waveform necklaces’.

Bizer creates the necklaces by using recordings, often submitted through his website by fans, by mapping the audio’s wavelengths as they appear in the audio files. He then converts the wavelengths into necklaces by carving out rings from acrylic, wood or metal and stringing them together.

In this day and age when being an individual and being seen as different is becoming an ever more popular sentiment, this may just be the best gift to get that someone special in your life – an abstract but powerful message.
